Our Journey
NEXEN traces its origins to May 2009 in Cebu City, founded on the strategic vision of the founder "StormXer0" to establish “NexGen Research” — a dedicated research and development initiative committed to advancing systems and technology while driving enterprise innovation and digital transformation. In May 2010, through a strategic collaboration with Paglaum Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PMPC), NexGen was established as the cooperative’s Research and Development Division. This partnership enabled the team to design and implement critical systems that enhanced operational efficiency and technological capability within the organization. Over a five-year period, NexGen demonstrated its expertise through the successful development, deployment and integrating of key innovations, including: • HRMAX – A comprehensive human capital management system. • IPVPN | Firewall Infrastructure – A centralized network architecture powered by open-source technologies, designed to strengthen organizational cybersecurity, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure scalable digital infrastructure. • UrSAFE (Unified Resource System and Framework Ecosystem) – An integrated, all-in-one operational business system platform. The organization formally spun off and was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as NEXEN Innovation Technologies Inc. on September 24, 2015.
